DEI Council Mission Statement
In principle and in practice, Civista Bank values and seeks inclusion and diversity within our organization and within our communities. Civista is committed to providing a welcoming and equitable environment with opportunities for engagement and employment and business relationships regardless of an individual’s age, ethnicity, gender identity, national origin, race, religious beliefs, sexual orientation or veteran or military status.

What motivated me to join the DEI Council was the desire to make sure everyone around me feels safe to be their most authentic self. The DEI Council provides a safe and welcoming environment and helps to foster that throughout the entire organization.
